2900XT aftermarket cooling

The 2900XT & 2600XT run hot on stock cooling.
The best heatsink and fan combo for the ATI series cards are aftermarket coolers, stock coolers tend to run hotter on the amd series cards.
The ultimate cooling solution is watercooling for the ATI cards but it is also the most difficult to setup.
The other options are setting up custom cooling on the cards. Thermal take makes several coolers for ATI cards but none that fit the hot ATI 2900XT.
The TMG-AT4 provided by thermaltake is a waterblock / active fan cooling solution for the 2900XT. Although the watercooling solution is complex it provides the best cooling solution. For 2900XT the air cooling solution is difficult. But can be done with modifying the stock cooler.
